Hi there! Liz here, from Lizzie Jane Baby. Today I have a fun Christmas Neighbor gift to share with you. It’s my Candy Cane Corn! Popcorn is a big hit around our house and I have a hard time keeping my kids out of it so I can put together neighbor gifts.

One of my favorite treats at Halloween is my ”Candy Corn Corn“.
Well here is a Christmas version perfect for neighbors, teachers and friends.
It started off with 2-3 bags of microwave popcorn, candy melts and a bag of peppermint M&M’s. You can buy candy melts at Michael’s, JoAnn or Hobby Lobby in the baking isle. I found my Peppermint M&M’s at Target.
It is super simple and takes about 15 minutes to make.
Here is how:
Divide your popcorn into 2 big bowls.
Melt one color of candy melts at a time according to directions.
Pour melted candy over popcorn and stir gently to cover all popcorn.
Spread out onto wax or parchment paper to dry and sprinkle with candy.
Continue with the other color candy melt until all popcorn is coated.
Once it is cooled, you break it apart and fill your bags.
I wanted to alternate the red and white when I filled my bag so it looked like a candy cane.
Isn’t that a great shade of red?
Did I ever mention red is my favorite color?!?! Image may be NSFW.

Can you believe Christmas is almost here?!?! I am so excited this year. Our kids are getting older and it’s so fun to start traditions with them. And our baby will be 6 moths old and just the right age to enjoy all the beauty and excitement of Christmas.
I’m almost ready, but still have a few things left on my list.
Luckily I can deliver these treats to our neighbors and cross that off my list!
Happy Baking!
